Peter built his first company at 24 and sold it at 30. From the outside, it looked like a win. The experience taught him that a company can be ready to sell before the founder is personally, financially, or emotionally ready for what follows.
Over 39 years, Peter has built and led companies, financed growth, advised founders, worked across IPOs, M&A, and public listings, and experienced five founder exits.
His perspective was shaped not only by success. After losing nearly everything during the financial crisis, Peter rebuilt his life and career. That experience deepened his understanding of resilience, identity, and the difference between creating financial value and living a life of lasting value. That period shaped The Integrated CEO.
Today, Peter is Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Emmis Acquisition Corp., a Nasdaq-listed SPAC that completed a $115 million IPO. He is a member of the Forbes Finance Council and bestselling author of The Entrepreneur’s IPO and The Investor’s IPO.
